Apparently it was announced on Radio 2 that Gary will be organising another Children In Need event.

There was a rumour in the press of a trek to the North Pole next March (similar to what Prince Harry has just returned from). Expect some news (if enough celebs can be recruited!) post-tour... ;-)

I've just read over on TTO, it was for comic relief as well wasn't it that trek? Another Royal Albert Hall extravaganza would be wicked.
Don't it make you so proud of him that he can demand such names as last time!

Re: Gary & Children In Need 2011
GARY Barlow could easily sit on a gold throne all day, wearing his pop crown and smoking £50 notes with his feet up.
But the Take That hero has been hammering out emails into the early hours since the manband finished their massive Progress tour, in a bid to put together one of his most ambitious charity projects yet.
The X Factor judge, with help from producer Labrinth, has orchestrated a reworked version of the touching Massive Atack song Teardrop for Children In Need.
It will be the first non-comedy and credible single the charity has ever released.
After weeks of graft behind the scenes, the cream of young rapping talent finally joined forces under one roof to record the song earlier this week. And as anyone who has worked with the characters involved will tell you, just getting them to turn up on time deserves a medal.
Speaking at the Metropolis studios in west London, Gary told me: "I think this is a brilliant project. Children In Need has a history of doing upbeat singles with comedians but it's a serious charity doing a lot of hard work for serious causes.
"It's time to do something with artists who young people actually listen to. I've done these things before, I'm used to doing group situations, I like it - it's a challenge. It hasn't been easy. But bless him, Labrinth and his manager have been the key to the whole thing.
"I met up with them and they started doing the whole lot, talking to friends etc, and all of a sudden the word started to get out. Hopefully we should be nailed on for a No1 - and raise loads of money in the process."
Gary has put an impressive list of talent together with Lab - the man who co-wrote Tinie Tempah's massive hit Pass Out. He has produced the track, featuring Ed Sheeran, Rizzle Kicks, Dappy, Fazer, Tulisa, Miss Dynamite, Wretch 32, Tinchy Stryder, Mz Bratt and Dot Rotton.
The single is out on November 13 but Gary and Labrinth are stuck for a name for the collective - and they need your ideas.

Re: Gary & Children In Need 2011
Gary Barlow has been busy – he spent ages sifting through all your suggestions for what to call his Children In Need band.
The Take That star was impressed with some names – and not quite so keen on others. Tears For Cash?
Gary reckoned one name shone out – The Collective – put forward by Bizarre reader Victoria Green.
Turns out she's a big fan of the X Factor judge.
Victoria from Bideford, Devon, said: "Gary Barlow was the first pop star I fell in love with as a schoolgirl.
"I once camped out all night to get the Take That reunion CD signed at HMV London.
"He was so down to earth and kind and made you feel important."

It's got No1 written all over it.

Re: Gary & Children In Need 2011
Lady Gaga, Coldplay and Elbow are to top the bill for a huge Children In Need concert organised by Gary Barlow.
The show - to take place at Manchester's MEN Arena - will also feature Michael Buble, JLS, N-Dubz and Hugh Laurie.
David Tennant, Fearne Cotton and Chris Moyles are to host the November 17 concert Children In Need Rocks Manchester, to be broadcast by BBC1 and Radio 1.
Further names and surprise guests are to be added to the bill, which ties in with the BBC's annual fundraising spectacular.
For the past two years the concert has been staged at London's Royal Albert Hall and the move to the north-west of England ties in with the relocation of several BBC departments to Salford.
Take That and X Factor star Gary said: "I'm so thrilled that these incredible artists are giving their time for such a special charity that is very close to my heart. There are still some great acts we're keeping up our sleeve to announce in the coming weeks and who knows, I might even sing a little something on the night too."
Chris said: "It's an amazing line-up and great that it's in the north of England. Handy for Gary and I to go visit our mums."
Tickets go on sale on Friday with details at www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey.
